For the remainder of this policy Purple Outsourcing t/a Mojomums will be known as Mojomums.

Personal Details

·         Mojomums collects personal information or data relating to candidates for legitimate business reasons in order to verify the right of work and match to appropriate job roles.

·         Candidates are requested to supply their name, address, email address and National Insurance number only for the purpose in which it was intended to be used for.

·         Candidate data is stored on our secure candidate database.

·         We will only request and collect personal information that we actually need.

·         Candidates can provide personal data over the telephone when registering their details.  For training and security purposes calls may be recorded.

Responsibilities

·         In order for Mojomums to comply with contractual, statutory and management obligations and responsibilities, we process personal data from our candidates and registrations.

·         Our contractual responsibilities are those arising from recruitment.  The data processed includes, but is not limited to, job role opportunities, interviews, vetting and offers of employment.

·         Our management responsibilities are those necessary for the compliant functioning of the organisation.  The data processed to meet management responsibilities includes, but is not limited to, data relating to; recruitment, training, development, email addresses and phone numbers.

·         Mojomums is regulated by REC and adheres to the conducts within.  We would never share candidate information with a prospective employer without consent from the candidate.

Sensitive Personal Data

·         The act defines ‘sensitive personal data’ as information about racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union memberships, physical or mental health, sexual life, criminal allegations, proceedings or convictions.

·         In certain limited circumstances we must legally collect and process sensitive information without requiring the explicit consent of a candidate.

·         DBS checks will be carried out where necessary and relevant for the role being applied for.

 

Log Data / Cookies / Security

·         We value our candidates’ privacy and security.  We have taken into consideration the purpose in which the candidates’ data has been collected, primarily for recruitment.

·         We only work with security conscience companies for our payroll, cloud-based applications, IT and phone systems.

Third Parties

 

·         We would never sell candidate data to a third party.  We would never share information with any other organisation for marketing, market research or commercial purposes.

·         Candidate privacy is important to us, we will always keep personal details secure.  We use candidate details for contact purposes but only about roles that are relevant to the candidate.

·         Personal information will be provided to third parties where obligated by law.  For instance, in case of a lawful request from a law enforcement agency.

Requesting Access or Removal of Data

 

·         Recruiters are required by law to keep detailed records for a given period of time.

·         Candidates have the right to request the removal of non-critical information if they are no longer looking for work.

·         A candidate can request for their information to be removed from the database.  Please email info@mojomums.co.uk

·         Candidates can request further information on their rights or how to exercise them by writing to the Data Protection Officer, Mojomums, Scotsbridge House, Scots Hill, Rickmansworth, Herts, WD3 3BB.

·         After undergoing normal security checks, candidates can request access to their personal information by advising what information is required and the date range of the required information.
