Job Description

We are seeking a professional restaurant supervisor who has solid previous experience of working within the hotel industry, with a minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity. Reporting to the F & B Services Manager you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day running of our Restaurant and ensuring that our guest’s expectations are exceeded.


Key responsibilities;

·         To  ensure that our guests are served efficiently with quality food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere and receive the highest possible standard of care

·         To maintain Food & Beverage standards of performance across the department according to Company SOP Manual

·         To ensure the department is adequately staffed in line with business levels, whilst maintaining control of payroll costs.

·         To maintain effective communication with the Kitchen and other F & B departments

·         To maximise revenue generated through selling techniques and good control procedures

·         To ensure standards of hygiene and health & safety are maintained

·         To carry out on job coaching, training and performance management in order to develop the team

·         Applicants must be able to work any five days out of seven on a rota basis, so flexibility is required.


Desired Qualifications/Experience/Behaviours:

·         Minimum of 2 years F & B experience, ideally in hotels with time spent in a Supervisory capacity

·         Experience in dealing with the public & handling complaints

·         CTA/PTC and coaching/training skills

·         Self-motivated and able to communicate.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills

·         Professional manner.

·         High level of competency in written and spoken English

·         Personal Licence Holder
