Salary: £35 – £45k

Reporting to: Head of Operations/Team Leader (Investments), Central Projects

 

ROLE

Office based and operating within an FCA compliant environment.

To provide support, client regulatory applications, variations of permissions and providing supporting documentation, specifically for investment firms.

Preparation of client investment application packs

Assisting in preparation of client consumer credit application packs where required

Support clients in the application process, gaining confidence and cementing relationships

Create bespoke client documents associated with their applications

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide practical support to client facing colleagues in meeting the client’s needs

Assisting with the completion of application packs for firms and individuals seeking authorisation from the FCA and PRA.

Developing relationships with clients in the application process and managing and exceeding their expectations

Preparing compliance documentation for newly authorised clients

To provide practical support to client facing partners and consultants in carrying out a range of tasks such as online applications for Approved Persons, regulatory reporting, maintenance of client compliance documentation etc.

To investigate specific areas of regulation in relation to the development of internal tools, such as templates, or for specific client projects

To monitor FCA and PRA output and complete ‘Regulatory Update’ summaries on issues relevant to

To liaise with clients on e-learning needs and maintain current e-learning library

To assist in maintaining the internal library of compliance documents, i.e. compliance manuals, policies, procedures etc.

To gain an awareness of CSL competitors and their offerings and consider how CSL can maintain a competitive advantage in the market

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications, skills and experience

Minimum honours level graduate degree or equivalent or 5+ years relevant commercial experience

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong in both verbal and written communication

Ability to manage own time effectively and organise competing priorities

Willingness to learn and develop

Awareness of the commercial role of Risk Management

Very strong PC skills in office applications

Highly structured working approach

Excellent time management skills

Desirable

Previous experience of working in a Regulated environment

Relevant professional qualification or professional experience advantageous

Experience of working in an office based customer service role
