Job Title: Junior Payroll Administrator

Salary: £16,000

Location: Rickmansworth

Position reports to: Payroll Manager

We’re looking for an enthusiastic administrator who would love a new opportunity in a fast paced payroll department, where they will be given the opportunity to grow their career with a vibrant and growing business.

Job Purpose Summary:

This is a junior administrative/processing role within a payroll department which runs large weekly payrolls. The ideal candidate will be qualified to A Level or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

·   Checking and processing expense claims.

·   Assisting in the processing of large weekly payroll runs.

·   Preparing/completing weekly transfer of data from the payroll system.

·   Assisting in ad hoc payroll related duties, including processing holiday pay, P45s, etc

·   Assisting with administrative tasks in other areas of the business when required.

Position Requirements:

·   Must be numerate and able to work in a fast-moving, busy environment.

·   Will require an intermediate level of Excel and general proficiency in IT systems.

·   Will be highly efficient, organised, and accurate and show initiative.

·   Will be confident, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

·   Willingness to learn how payroll operates and the technical calculations behind it
