37.5 hours per week 9.00am-5.30pm Mon to Fri (term time only)

Salary: £20,000 – £24,000 (dependent on experience) +circa £6K achievable OTE bonus

Office based in Brentford

Our client, a leading provider of formative assessments to UK and international schools, is looking to recruit a passionate Sales Executive, who is focused on providing their client with the right products and services via an understanding and sympathetic sales approach, ensuring the customer’s needs are met at all times.

This role is ideal for somebody who understands and has a passion for the needs of the schools and their students.  A background in education would be beneficial but is not essential.

JOB SUMMARY

To demonstrate and sell products over the phone and via WebEx to School Customers in the UK market
To achieve and exceed set sales targets via thoughtful consultative selling and understanding client needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To generate sales leads and opportunities by having customer focused conversations around issues in school which lead to the recognition of need by teachers.
To set yourself apart as a trusted partner by being well informed about market developments, their implications for schools and teachers and through the application of superior sales skills and product knowledge.
To ensure a fast & efficient response to all leads, quotes, customer requests & requests for information through a commitment to a fast and accurate service level
To deliver a great service to teachers by behaving in accordance with customer values – in particular, taking an enterprising, responsive and rigorous approach to all customer interaction and by working collaboratively with colleagues
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Achievement of agreed sales targets
Effective daily use of CRM system
Generation of sales leads
Fulfil own element of personal development plan
Work collaboratively in the Sales Operations team
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Excellent communication & sales skills – to include presentations, telephone sales technique and accurate written work
Experience of consultative phone based selling
Effective user of CRM Systems for time management and and planning and organisational purposes
Commercial acumen to support an enterprising approach to selling
A self starter who creates leads and sales opportunities
Competitive, tenacious and enthusiastic – driven to achieve results
Strong negotiating/influencing skills developed in previous roles
Strong desire and curiosity to learn about educational assessment issues
